Baldurby =White--Whiskers

Traditional Art / Paintings / Animals

This was the painting I did this year for my church's annual Chinese Auction/Dinner Dance.

I am really happy with this came out. I experimented with many different techniques and it came out great. I feel like this is easily one of my best works yet!

It is a Norwegian Forest Cat which is how the name Baldur came about. My mom suggested something Norwegian and so we have a Norse god ^.^

Used: Strathmore vellum bristol paper, crayola educational watercolors, derwent watercolor pencils, white gel pen, and salt.

You mean McGonagal (spelling?) She turns into a short-haired tabby I believe, but close enough. Actually I believe Mrs. Norris, Filch's cat, is the same breed as this...
